Recreation.
I really don't do much other than drive my kids around to their activities: music lessons, swimming, cubs, and 4H. Additionally I help with the various fund raising activities and events associated with our kid's activities.
I have in recent years been a 4H leader at the Gainsborough Combined Club for at least one course a year. Some of the courses I have been the leader for are:
I am a bit of a digital photo nut and a gadget geek (mainly Palm and MiniDisc related) but have little budget for pusuing these interests. In fact I'm sure Wanda would say I've already spent too much on these interests - however there is always something newer & better. At least its a cheaper hobby than cars, planes, laptop computers, etc.
We try to take at least one camping vacation (tenting) and one "get away" (hotel) vacation a year. However, it is always a challenge to coordinate the adults and kids vacation schedules, the weather, and our pocket books, to make this happen. At least now not raising livestock gives us increased options. We should do more - its just hard to make it happen.
