About Dragonfly Meadow

Dragonfly Meadow is a 5 acre property located on a sandy woodlot near Gainsborough Hall south of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. It is named Dragonfly Meadow because every year around the beginning of August we have literally thousands of Dragonflies zooming around our property. Being a woodlot means we see our share of wildlife (deer, skunks, raccoons), birds (hummingbirds, turkeys, partridge), and insects (butterflies, beetles,and too many mosquitoes).

As a hobby we've raised chickens, geese and pygmy goats on our acreage. We are currently taking a break from production choosing instead to focus on our full-time jobs and family for the time being.

We've also done consulting and contract work usually involving either DeskTop Publishing or fundraising.
